1. In 2-3 sentences, tell us a little about you and your garden.

I’m a commercial interior designer with a passion for growing and giving back to the community. I’m a former community garden member and leader for Denver Urban Gardens & Metro Caring and a graduate of the DUG Master Composter program. I love growing for the community and am hoping to increase my impact with my little house’s big garden that I started building last year after purchasing my house.

2. What motivates you to grow and share your homegrown produce?

Having a sense of community and pride in helping to make sure others have access to healthy food.

3. Tell us about your proudest gardening moment.

My first donation from my new backyard garden - it took a lot of work to get that point and I was really proud and excited for that moment.

4. What garden tool can you not live without?

My Hori Hori

5. What piece of advice would you give a beginning gardener?

Just give it a try at any scale that you can!
